The University of Regina welcomes approximately 3,000 international students from nearly 100 countries to its main campus in Regina, Saskatchewan. Here’s a brief overview of the application process for international students:
But before we begin this step-by-step prodedure, Canditate are to make sure they meet the following basic requirement before appliaction will be processed.
Ensure you meet the following requirements:
- An undergraduate degree with a grade of above 70-75% from a recognized university.
- Two academic letters of recommendation.
- A valid passport.
- A statement of interest.
- GMAT/GRE scores (if applicable).
- CV/Resume.
- English language test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent)

- Choose Your Program: Review the program options available at the University of Regina.
- Application Guide: Check the faculty admission requirements and gather the necessary documents.
- Submit Your Online Application: Apply through the online portal.
- Pay the Application Fee: You can pay by credit card or use Flywire.
- International Student of Distinction Scholarship: Eligible students can apply for this scholarship, which offers a total value of $80,000 ($20,000 per year for 4 years). It includes free on-campus housing and a meal plan for fifty students with the highest admission averages each term

How to Submit Your Online Application.
1. Prepare Required Documents
Every application type has specific documents that must be submitted in support of the application. Depending on your application, this could include:
- High School Transcripts
- College or University Transcripts
- Statement of Intent
- References
- Portfolio Components

2.Head on to Uregina.ca
On the landing page, scroll down a little bit till you reach this section. From here you can see it has been divided into two section, depending on the year of which you are applying, choose accordingly. For example if your year is 2024, it fall in the spring/summer season. All you have to do it to click on the lighlighted text “2024 application for admission and you are good to go.
2. Create your admission portal
Most people get stuck here because they don’t read carefully the instructions on how to set up the ID and PIN. To do that, make sure you choose numbers from Zero(0) to nine(9). Make sure your PIN set is at least 6 numbers and do not include alphabets. Same thing as the ID. As shown in the screenshot below, i used eight digits for both ID and the PIN and they should not be the same.
3. Select you application type
On this page, You have to choose undergraduate as an international student who have not been to Uregina before. On the application type, choose from the dropdown menu, the one which best describes your level of education and the one you have all the certificate needed to apply.
NB: Choosing graduate at the application level meanss you are a formal student of Uregina of which you will be asked of some extra informations about your graduation at Uregina.
4. Input your name, First name and last name are required.
At the admission term section, select the year you chose previously. As you can see the read symbol means that the field is required and the rest is option and you can leave it blank. Click on “Fill Out Application” at the bottom left corner below the the listed requirements to proceed.
5. Application Checklist
On this page you will have to fill in all the needed requirement just by click on any of the needed requirement to be redirected to a form page to complete the form. Form the screenshot below you can see the following
